Foody, the Cypriot startup announced today that it has reached an agreement to be acquired by the Delivery Hero Group, one of the Global Leaders in the online food ordering and marketplace industry.
By joining the Group, Foody has become part of a global family of brands with presence in 39 countries around the world, including e-food, clickdelivery and deliveras in Greece.

The founders will continue in their leadership roles and alongside the team of more than 40 people will continue to operate the business on a day-to-day.
Through the new relationship with Delivery Hero, Foody expects to gain access to the extraordinary experience of the Group, in depth expertise, and state of the art technology and processes that are used in other countries.
This access and knowledge sharing combined with continued investment will help the team to continue its exciting journey and grow at an accelerated pace while continuing to build a stronger and bigger Foody that can serve its customers and partners even better.
